A fast-growing tech startup is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist to join our team. We are solving the problems for ecommerce using AI/ML and looking for someone who is passionate about using data to drive business decisions.Responsibilities:Analyze large amounts of ecommerce data to uncover insights and trends.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data-driven solutions.Ability to self-start & work in a challenging environment by navigating ambiguity & by bringing structure. Work to solve problems vertically i.e. bringing in 0 to 1 progress.Prior Internship Experience in any quantitative field (e.g. Data Science, Applied Maths, Time Series Forecasting & Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, AI, Economics, or Engineering) is a good to have.Expertise in Python with strong coding skills, especially in data science libraries & frameworks such as pandas,numpy,scikit-learn, Tensorflow/PyTorch & pyspark. Strong expertise in data wrangling & analyzing massive complex datasets, structured & unstructured. Proven track record of extracting data insights & building ML models, especially in the areas of Predictive analytics, time series forecasting & operations research through projects or internships taken earlier.Fundamental knowledge of Explainable AI and decoding Black Box models.Proficiency in data visualization. Strong written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization.Develop and implement machine learning models Thorough understanding of database, streaming & analytics services offered by popular cloud platforms(Azure, AWS, GCP) and hands-on implementation of building machine learning pipeline with atleast one of the popular cloud platformsStay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and machine learning.Continuously evaluate the performance of existing models and suggest improvements.Requirements:Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.1 years of experience in data science and machine learning.Strong programming skills in PythonExperience with machine learning algorithms and libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.).Familiarity with SQL and data warehousing concepts.Experience working with demand forecasting, supply chain optimization, driver analysis, time series analysis, statistical models, regression models and deep learning modelsStrong technical knowledge of Regression, Classification, Bayesian and Probabilistic ModelsAI ML Experience working with AI products, data science packages, etc.Experience with building and deploying machine learning models on large-scale data.
