Deputy Manager ProductionJob descriptionThe ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of a variety of equipment for the oil and gas industry. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and experience in managing complex manufacturing processesRole & Responsibilities:
• Working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, CE, DOSCH, etc. codes & standards.
• Knowledge and ability to implement of quality management system, environment management system and health and safety management system.
• Implementation of the production process of heavy fabrication and welding for piping and process/pressure vessels
• Oversee and manage the manufacturing of equipment/solution for oil and gas industry, including Pressure Reducing Metering Stations, Fuel Gas Skids, Filters & Separators, Water Bath & electrical Heater Skids, Underground Compact Pressure Reducing Skids, Pressure Vessels, CNG High Pressure Decompression Skids and process skids (PSA, chemical injection skids, hydrogen purification skids, etc.)
• Plan, organize, and direct production activities to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
• Ensure all production processes comply with safety regulations, oil and gas industry standards and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, quality control, and project management teams to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
• Monitor production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Manage and train production staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Maintain and enforce strict safety standards and protocols within the production facility.
• Oversee maintenance of production equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare and manage production budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Address and resolve any production issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
Preferred candidate profile:
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in production management, preferably in the oil and gas equipment manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in managing the production of complex equipment and systems.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in production management software and tools.
• Experience in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
