We are seeking an experienced Foundry Operations Manager to lead our aluminium foundry operations within a technologically advanced manufacturing environment. • Lead end-to-end aluminium foundry operations including melting, alloy preparation, metal treatment, casting, homogenization, and billet production.
• Develop and execute production plans to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives.
• Optimize furnace operations, metal recovery, energy consumption, yield improvement, and process efficiency.
• Ensure consistent production of high-quality aluminium billets meeting customer and internal quality specifications.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness, furnace availability, and process capability.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for production and quality issues.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Extrusion, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, occupational health, and safety standards.
• Manage production budgets, operational costs, consumables, refractory usage, and energy efficiency programs.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance planning for furnaces, casting equipment, and utilities.
• Support new alloy development, process validation, customer qualifications, and new product introductions.
• Develop production KPIs and utilize manufacturing data to improve operational performance.
