New Product Development Engineer

Job Description

The Product Development Engineer will assist in the engineering and productdesign, including design for manufacturabilty and cost, of plastic, metal, rubber and electronicassembly components. This position will support project from as early as design inception throughproduct life cycle, and provide technical support in various manufacturing disciplines (includingplastic injection molding and metal working). Assist effort for on-time prototypes and productionlaunch of new or modified products. Communicate with customer for resolution of technical issues.Assist in the development of quality specifications for inspection and testing manufactured productsbased on engineering, consumer, and regulatory test standardsResponsibilitiesAs a key player in new product development, your responsibilities include:
