Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:1. Assist in the preparation and setup of the operation theater for IVF procedures,ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and readily available.2. Collaborate with the IVF specialist and other medical staff to facilitate the smoothconduct of IVF procedures, including egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and otherrelated surgeries.3. Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in IVF procedures, such asmicroscopes, incubators, centrifuges, and cryopreservation devices.4. Monitor patients undergoing IVF treatments during surgical procedures, ensuringtheir safety and comfort throughout the process.5. Handle specimens collected during IVF procedures with precision and care,following established protocols for labeling, storage, and transportation.6. Maintain cleanliness and sterility in the operation theater, adhering to strictinfection control guidelines and protocols.7. Assist in the documentation and record-keeping of IVF procedures, includingpatient information, treatment details, and outcomes.8. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stayupdated on advancements in IVF technology and techniques.9. Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement quality improvement initiativesaimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of IVF procedures.10. Adhere to all regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and organizationalpolicies governing IVF treatments and patient care.Qualifications:1. Diploma or Bachelors degree in Operation Theater Technology, Nursing, or arelated field.2. Certification or specialized training in IVF techniques and procedures is highlypreferred.3. Prior experience working as an OT Technician in a healthcare setting, withspecific exposure to IVF procedures.4. Strong understanding of medical terminology, surgical techniques, and sterileprocessing protocols.5. Proficiency in operating and maintaining medical equipment used in IVFprocedures.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborateeffectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.7. Detail-oriented approach with a focus on maintaining accuracy and precision inall tasks.8. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patientsafety and quality of care.9. Commitment to upholding ethical standards, confidentiality, and patient privacy.10.
