Plant Head - LightingJob Description - Plant HeadRole Objective:Handling the plant to achieve plant KPIs by ensuring smooth day to day manufacturing operations, cost control, productivity improvement, quality assurance, statutory compliance, and people management, while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Production & Target Achievement:- Support achievement of production targets with respect to Volume, Quality, Cost and Delivery.- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, materials, power and utilities.- Support trials, stabilization and scale up of New Product Development (NPD).Operational Excellence:- Drive productivity improvements through Lean Manufacturing, MOST, TPM, 5S, Six Sigma.- Identify and eliminate waste in material, energy, rework and processes.- Support review and improvement of SAP routings, BOMs and cost allocations.Cost, Budget & Efficiency:- Monitor and control plant overheads (power, spares, consumables and manpower).- Support Plant Head in achieving cost reduction, ROCE improvement and working capital efficiency.- Ensure adherence to approved AOP, budget and timelines.Quality, EHS & Compliance:- Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems.- Drive zero defect, zero accident mindset across operations.- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance related to factories, labour, safety and environment.People Management:- Manage and develop shop floor and managerial teams.- Maintain high levels of employee engagement, discipline and performance culture.- Support workforce planning, skill development and succession readiness.Projects & Automation:- Support implementation of brownfield / greenfield projects, capacity expansion and line balancing.- Drive automation, digitization, MES and Industry 4.0 initiatives.Education & Experience:Education:- B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Production or relevant discipline)Experience:- 20 years of experience in lighting manufacturing setups.- Strong exposure to plant operations, productivity, cost optimization and project execution.Skill & Competency Requirements:- Strong execution, problem solving and analytical skills.- Knowledge of Lean, MOST, Value Engineering, Industry 4.0 concepts.- Strong people management and shop floor leadership capability.Interested can send their updated resume our calling and WhatsApp number is 8.7.9.6.5.0.7.5.9.9
