Job Description

    OverviewThe Purchase Manager plays a critical role in managing the organizations procurement process. They are responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the companys operational needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and high quality.Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost savings Identify reliable suppliers and manage vendor relationships Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to ensure adequate supply Analyze market trends and conditions to anticipate changes in pricing and availability Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and priorities Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors regarding quality, delivery, or pricing Implement sustainable procurement practices to support environmental and social goals Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and take corrective actions when necessary Lead and develop the procurement team, providing guidance and supportRequired Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role Demonstrated knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation Strong analytical and decision-making skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office tools Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively In-depth understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for procurement Leadership and team management skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Proven track record of cost savings and vendor performance improvement Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is preferred Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and environmental standards is an advantage Strong ethical standards and integrity in business dealingsSkills: sourcing,negotiation,inventory management,analytical thinking,supply chain,purchasing,skills,savings,cost savings,supply,management,
