Job Description

    Job Summary:As a Scrum Master at Angara, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the adoption and execution of Scrum practices within our development teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing and leading agile projects, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Responsibilities:
    • 1) Scrum Facilitation:
      • Serve as the Scrum Master for multiple Scrum teams, guiding them through the Scrum framework and ensuring adherence to agile principles.
      • Facilitate Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
      • Encourage collaboration and communication between team members, product owners, and stakeholders.
    • 2) Team Empowerment:
      • Coach and mentor team members on agile principles and practices to enhance their understanding and effectiveness.
      • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the teams and promote adaptive thinking.
    • 3) Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to prioritize and groom the product backlog.
      • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
    • 4) Obstacle Removal:
      • Identify and address impediments to team progress, escalating issues when necessary.
      • Proactively identify and remove impediments that hinder the teams ability to meet sprint goals.
    • 5) Metrics and Reporting:
      • Track and report key agile metrics to stakeholders, providing transparency into team progress and performance.
      • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and work with teams to implement necessary changes.
    • 6) Continuous Learning:
      • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in agile and Scrum methodologies.
      • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
    • 4-8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an agile development environment.
    • Strong understanding of agile principles and Scrum framework.
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira).
    • Familiarity with other agile frameworks (e.g Kanban) is a plus.
