Job Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, supplies, and products efficiently and accurately. This role involves physical activity, inventory management, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure smooth daily operations.Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
   • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
   • Accurately process and document inventory records.
   • Organize and store items in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
   • Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
2. Order Fulfillment:
   • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
   • Ensure timely and accurate order processing to meet customer requirements.
   • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to load and unload materials.
3. Warehouse Maintenance:
   • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
   • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage.
   • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Coordinate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
   • Communicate effectively about inventory shortages, damaged items, or other operational issues.
   • Provide feedback on process improvements to enhance efficiency.
5. Compliance:
   • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
   • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other workplace safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a warehouse environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse management software.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Basic math and computer skills.
Working Conditions:
• Physical role requiring standing, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.
• May involve working in varying temperatures (e.g., refrigerated or outdoor storage areas).
• Shift work, overtime, or weekend schedules may be required.
