Job Description

EV Powertrain Integration EngineerDate: 19 Mar 2025Location: Jaipur, RJ, IN, 302028Company: Hero MotocorpFunction: Research & Development - JaipurPay Band: E4 to M2Role: EV Powertrain Integration EngineerA purpose driven role for youThe Powertrain Integration Engineer will be responsible for defining, designing, developing, and integrating electric vehicle powertrain components into the complete automotive system. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient and seamless integration and debugging of the vehicles powertrain.A Day in the life

  • Lead Integrator of an EV drivetrain.
  • EV drivetrain development and company standards generation.
  • Testing, validation and troubleshooting. RCA and development process.
Academic Qualification & Experience
  • B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
  • Wide experience and knowledge in EV drivetrain architecture, power and energy flow and safety mechanisms.
  • Wide experience in EV drivetrain components developments and their integration: batteries, BMS, motor, motor controllers, VCU, etc.
  • Experience in testing and validation of EV drivetrain and embedded systems.
  • Experience in HW and SW architecture understanding.
  • Experience in requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama, Codebeamer, ALM, Jira).
  • Troubleshooting and RCA skills.
  • DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFA analysis.
  • Sound knowledge on the usage of DSO, power supplies and electronics measurement tools.
  • Hands on experience in Vector tools (CANoe, CAPL, CANalyzer) is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of PLM will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of HIL testing and capabilities.
