Test Engineer Vehicle System Test EngineerDate: 28 Jan 2025Location: Jaipur, RJ, IN, 302028Company: Hero MotocorpFunction: Research & Development - JaipurPay Band: E4 to M2RoleTest Engineer Vehicle System Test EngineerA Purpose Driven Role for You

  • To validate vehicle sub systems and electrical sub system level functional confirmation on the vehicle.
  • To check for vehicle electrical functions related to vehicle startability, electrical load charge balance, Safety Functions and Infotainment functions.
  • To perform the test cases as per customer usage pattern, Homologation requirements and identify the issues wrt vehicle functions usability.
  • To simulate the failure and support for root cause analysis to resolve it.
  • To develop the new testing infrastructure to perform the test cases.
  • Mainly focus on: Vehicle Level Electrical Function Testing and Confirmations.

  • Integration & validation of Vehicle Functions
  • Flashing & diagnostics
  • Problem solving
  • Development of new validation infrastructure
Academic Qualification & Experience
  • BTech in Electronics/Electrical, or equivalent. Diploma can be considered with more years of experience.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge with system integration and validation.
  • Knowledge of homologation requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of main automotive bus communication.
  • Knowledge in auxiliary automotive bus communication (CAN, LIN, MOST, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of UDS protocol, KWP.
  • Knowledge in testing procedure.
  • Knowledge of main automotive programming and analysis tools (Vector, Inca, etc.).
  • Knowledge of calibration tools (Inca, CCP, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of EV & IC vehicle functionalities, logics & algorithms.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Preferred knowledge of Automotive Standards.
  • Knowledge on Automation of Software Validation Processes.
