SAP ABAP ConsultantPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong technical development skills and hands-on exposure to SAP project implementations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ABAP programming along with a functional understanding of FI/CO, MM, and SD modules. The role requires proficiency in SAP R/3 and SAP HANA environments, delivering high-quality custom developments and enhancements aligned with business needs.Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom applications using SAP ABAP in SAP R/3 and SAP HANA systems.
• Design and build Classical, Interactive, and ALV reports, Smart Forms, and custom dialogs.
• Work with Data Dictionary objects, tables, structures, views, and search helps.
• Implement BDC (Batch Data Communication), BAPI, RFCs, and other integration techniques.
• Perform object-oriented programming and ABAP optimization for performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework components.
• Support Project Implementations including requirement gathering, functional collaboration, testing, and deployment.
• Coordinate with functional teams for FI/CO, MM, and SD configuration understanding and cross-functional impact analysis.
• Develop and troubleshoot Dialog programming and custom SAP screens.
• Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.
• Provide production support, debugging, issue resolution, and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development across SAP R/3 and SAP HANA landscapes.
• Proficiency in Classical/Interactive/ALV reports, Smart Forms, BDC, OOPs ABAP, BAPI/RFC developments.
• Solid understanding of Data Dictionary, ABAP performance tuning, and enhancement techniques.
• Exposure to FI/CO, MM, and SD functional processes and configuration cycles.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP project implementations (development, testing, deployment).
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with technical and functional teams.
• M.B.A is required.
