Were building a world where Identity belongs to you.Role OverviewAs an Alliance Solutions Engineer at Okta, you will be responsible for driving thought leadership and enabling our partners across Japan. You will be part of a fun and exciting team that is focused on building a successful partner community in Japan.What you can expect in an Alliances Solution Engineer role at Okta

  • Enable Okta partners to champion innovative solutions that solve customer problems
  • Drive thought leadership with our partners and their clients about Okta solutions
  • Help our partners understand Oktas value proposition and competitive advantages
  • Lead technical discussions with partners on the value Okta can provide to their clients
  • Work with cross-functional teams to help build a successful Okta partner community
You could be a great fit for this role if you have:
  • A passion to work with Oktas growing partner and distribution community in Japan
  • Experience in technical presales
  • Native level of Japanese and business level of English
These are not mandatory but a plus:
  • IAM / IDaaS competitive landscape knowledge
  • Program management experience
  • Experience with at least one standard network security protocol (e.g. OAuth, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP)
