ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. BUYING, SOURCING
2. MERCHANDISING
3. INVENTORY
• Stock Gaps- Discussions with Geography Highlighting articles going out of stocks frequently, Provide Forecast directly to Replenishment planning team while settling right MOQ .
• High DOH Items - Keep a close eye on any excess PO for seasonal line / regular line in spite of existing sufficient stock levels
• 90 Days Ageing items liquidation drive in coordination with NHQ & Geography
• Help Replenishment Team with STO Plan and set right MOQ
4. CATEGORY ASSORTMENT & CATEGORY PLANNING
• Regional Article Code Creation, Vendor Code Creation, MDM Activities to be completed for Kirana, HoReCa & Institution
• Regional Assortment Review for activation and inactivation.
• Aware of all quality parameters for the Product Assortment.
5. PRICING
• Closely Review Pricing Tables as Per State Level Articles - Min, Max, Ladders
• Scheme Letter discussions, giving insights on Investments in pricing on Key lines
• Closely monitoring the KVI SKU Pricing and Ensure a Great Price efficiency is better leveraged by vendor support
• Ability to Identify and spot pricing and availability trends in the market.
• Smartness to mitigate and earn pricing advantage by Hedging risks.
6. VENDOR MANAGEMENT
• A great Regional Vendor Relationship which further Strengthen the Promotion planning and increase in better Trade Schemes
• Initial TOT discussions with Regional Brands.
• Work with regional vendors to Drive Other Income avenues which contributes a great health to the Category Deliverables
• Good Network to source from Mills, Cooperative Society for Required Commodities
