Job Description

As an experienced Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Your primary duties will include preparing financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in a timely and precise manner. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts and analyzing financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Collaborating with the finance team, you will assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, monitoring expenditures, and recommending cost-cutting measures to enhance efficiency. Your expertise will be essential during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, as well as in overseeing tax preparation and filing procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws.In addition to your core accounting responsibilities, you will take on a leadership role by supervising and mentoring junior accountants and finance staff. Reviewing and approving the work prepared by the accounting team will be part of your routine to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.You will be instrumental in maintaining financial systems and software to ensure data integrity, as well as recommending and implementing process improvements to streamline workflow efficiency. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies will also be among your key tasks to uphold internal controls and compliance standards.This full-time, permanent position offers benefits including health insurance, leave encashment, life insurance, and provident fund. The work schedule is during the day, and the preferred educational requirement is a Bachelors degree. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in accounting, with a total of 1 year of work experience, and 1 year of experience in A/R analysis.
