Job Description

    Job Position : Jewellery DesignerJob Summary:We are seeking a creative and skilled Jewellery Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewellery design, with the ability to create unique, market-aligned pieces that reflect our brands identity. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of current jewellery trends, and the ability to work collaboratively with production and marketing teams to bring designs to life.Key Responsibilities and Duties: Conceptualize and Design Develop innovative jewellery designs that resonate with our target audience and adhere to brand guidelines. Produce detailed sketches, 3D renderings, and specifications for each design concept. Ensure designs are both aesthetically pleasing and feasible for production. Collaboration and Teamwork Work closely with the production team to ensure design practicality, quality, and alignment with manufacturing capabilities. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs align with promotional strategies and brand image. Incorporate feedback from relevant departments to refine designs as needed. Market Research and Trend Analysis Conduct research on jewellery trends, materials, and competitor offerings to inform design choices. Analyze customer feedback and preferences to anticipate trends and align designs with market demands. Stay updated on industry developments by attending trade shows, exhibitions, and design workshops. Material Selection Select appropriate metals, gemstones, and other materials that meet design, quality, and cost requirements. Work with suppliers to source high-quality materials that comply with brand standards. Ensure all materials are compatible with production processes and meet durability standards. Prototype Development Oversee the development of prototypes for new designs, ensuring they meet design specifications. Conduct quality checks on prototypes and make adjustments to achieve the desired look and feel. Coordinate with quality assurance to troubleshoot any design-related issues during prototype testing. Documentation and Record-Keeping Maintain organized records of design specifications, material choices, and prototypes for future reference. Update and manage design archives to ensure consistency and aid in future design improvements.Qualifications and Skills: Education: Degree or diploma in Jewellery Design, Fashion Design, or a related field. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in jewellery design, with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and skill. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD software) and strong sketching ability.
