Job Description

    Job Title: VFX On-Set SupervisorCompany: Promice StudiosAbout Promice Studios: Promice Studios is a premier visual effects company specializing in cutting-edge VFX solutions for film, television, and digital media. Our team is passionate about pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling, and were looking for a talented VFX On-Set Supervisor to join us in creating groundbreaking work.We are seeking an experienced VFX On-Set Supervisor to oversee all visual effects aspects during production shoots. The ideal candidate will work closely with directors, cinematographers, and production teams to ensure that all VFX elements are seamlessly integrated into live-action footage.Key Responsibilities:On-Set Supervision: Attend all relevant shoots to oversee VFX requirements. Provide guidance on the placement of green screens, tracking markers, and other VFX elements. Ensure accurate data collection, including camera angles, lighting conditions, and environmental details.Collaboration: Work closely with directors and DOPs to plan and execute complex VFX shots. Coordinate with the post-production VFX team to communicate on-set data and feedback.Technical Expertise: Advise on the technical feasibility of VFX concepts during pre-production meetings. Troubleshoot any on-set challenges related to visual effects.Quality Control: Monitor the quality of VFX shots during production to ensure they meet the projects creative and technical standards.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in VFX supervision, with at least 1 year on-set. Proven track record of working on feature films, television series, or high-end commercials.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of VFX pipelines and processes. Proficient in industry-standard software such as Maya, Aftereffects, Blender, and Houdini. Knowledge of camera equipment, lens data, and motion capture technology.Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
