Develop packaging designs that protect products during shipping and storage. Work with production and design teams to ensure the packaging aligns with product requirements. Select appropriate materials and techniques for packaging based on product type, size, and fragility. Conduct packaging tests to ensure the durability and functionality of packaging designs. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for packaging, labeling, and safety. Maintain inventory of packaging materials and place orders as necessary. Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and negotiate pricing. Work on improving packaging processes for efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability. Troubleshoot packaging issues during production and shipping. Assist in the preparation of packaging documentation and reports.
