Quality Management Process Architect/Process ConsultantLocation: Kochi/Trivandrum/Hyderabad/Bangalore/Chennai/Pune/NoidaNotice Period: Immediate-30 daysPosition Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Management Process Architect/Process Consultant to design and implement software engineering policies, processes, and frameworks aimed at improving project turnaround times and enhancing governance throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is critical in ensuring that all projects adhere to high-quality standards, industry best practices, and continuous improvement principles.Key Responsibilities:
1. Define & Implement Quality Management Systems (QMS):
   • Develop, document, and implement quality management policies and processes that align with ISO 9001 standards.
   • Design a robust governance framework to oversee the adherence to quality standards across all development activities.
2. Process Improvement & Optimization:
   • Introduce and maintain Stage-Gate processes to ensure that every phase of the software lifecycle meets defined quality criteria.
   • Apply Six Sigma methodologies and other performance improvement tools to optimize turnaround times and operational efficiency.
3. Governance & Performance Monitoring:
   • Establish metrics, KPIs, and auditing mechanisms to monitor and continuously improve quality across all software projects.
   • Implement governance models that ensure consistent delivery, reduce risks, and comply with industry standards and best practices.
4. Continuous Improvement:
   • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in the development lifecycle and implementing corrective actions.
   • Foster a culture of quality and operational excellence through training, workshops, and hands-on guidance.
5. Collaboration & Leadership:
   • Work closely with project managers, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that quality processes are fully integrated into daily operations.
   • Act as a subject matter expert on QMS, governance, and performance improvement strategies in the software development environment.
Essential Qualifications:
• ISO 9001 certification or equivalent knowledge of quality management standards.
• Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience with Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Proven experience in defining and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and governance frameworks.
• Strong expertise in performance improvement, project management frameworks, and process improvement within a software development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders.
Desirable:
• Experience with software project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Prior experience in governance for software engineering or IT-related projects.
