Job Description

    Job Purpose:The Specialist, Mechanical SAP is responsible for assisting the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Superintendent in preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment related to SAP. The role involves implementing RSR and RCA recommendations, monitoring system performance, and developing maintenance strategies based on Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA).Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with supervisors, superintendents, and planners to schedule and track daily maintenance activities. Troubleshoot mechanical systems and determine appropriate repair procedures. Initiate major overhauling procedures and prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) & Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) while ensuring HSE compliance. Develop and update Mechanical Maintenance Procedures. Implement RSR and RCA recommendations and enhance maintenance strategies using FMEA. Prepare reports on predictive maintenance requirements and implementation of RSR & RCA recommendations. Support the development and execution of Oracle-based maintenance workflows and execution systems. Train and mentor team members to foster growth and succession planning in line with Saudization goals. Develop and work on spares/equipment reliability improvement plans. Audit, monitor, and implement development plans for preventive maintenance, emergency jobs, and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) orders. Contribute to cost control measures and in-house spare parts development initiatives.Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4 years of experience. OR 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience. OR High School diploma with 12 years of experience. Experience: Minimum of 8 years in SAP or Materials Handling Plant Maintenance.Required Skills & Competencies: Expertise in reliability studies and root cause analysis. Strong troubleshooting, preventive, and corrective maintenance skills. Proficiency in Oracle and other PC-based applications. Knowledge of mechanical system overhauls and maintenance procedures. Strong teamwork, communication, and coaching abilities.
