Job Description

SUMMARYThe Sales Manager reports to the Regional Manager (North & East) and is responsible for selling direct all ANSYS products and Services to new and existing customers of ANSYS in the Eastern Region. The Sales Manager is a quota carrying position and would need to generate the committed revenue and help grow the revenue as per growth plans.RESPONSIBILITIES Generate the committed revenue Quickly adapt to various processes like : Sales process, Territory planning, Forecasting & Customer onboarding. Position ANSYS messaging with the customer base Develop customer relationships Position and communicate ANSYS value to the customer owners covering CXOs, technical & operational managers & users Coordinate delivery, installation, training of ANSYS solution as per customer order Collect the due payment within time MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor s/ Masters in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronic Engineering. 10 - 15 years of quota carrying sales experience in selling high-value software solutions, with a track record of achieving sales goals in a consistent manner Ability to manage large accounts and close complex large value deals. Engineering Simulation/ PLM /Business Software sales experience preferred Excellent communication and team skills; committed to learning Proficient with office productivity and presentation tools Ability to travel at least 50% of the time. Ability to develop and handle Strategic account. Excellent Communication skiilsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAbility to write proposals with value articulations Ability to author & present C-level presentations and conversationsCULTURE AND VALUESCulture and values are incredibly important to ANSYS.
