Job Description

    A Research Analyst would be required to draw upon his/her mathematical and analytical abilities to achieve the following outcomes (non-exhaustive list):- Analyze past results and perform variance analysis- Identify trends and make recommendations for improvements- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports- Use Excel functions and Python to organize and analyze data- Create charts, graphs, and presentations for leadership teams- Develop recommendations to improve business operations going forward- Perform qualitative and quantitative research on relevant markets- Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry and related markets being researchedTypically, a Research Analyst would be in charge of handling multiple responsibilities either directly or by managing teams. We encourage individuals to take on different roles in various project cycles, to give them a flavor of the entire lifecycle. Skills Required: - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills - Attention to details and a commitment to accuracy - Ability to distill large amounts of information into specific takeaways - Additional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are preferred- Coding skills in Python will be an added advantage- Willingness and ability to learn and take up varied responsibilities over time- A genuine interest in financial markets- Advanced speaking and report-writing skills for effective communication- Good communication skills, comfortable with explaining complicated models to a wide audience- A team player.
