Our Bot Manager product is designed to provide top-tier cloud computing security. It prevents data theft and mitigates extensive account takeover attempts. We build unique technology to handle petabytes of data and conduct billions of secure transactions daily.Shape the future of our security productsAs part of a team, one focuses on building highly usable, reliable, and scalable software solutions. These solutions are for bot threat detection, protection, and control feature. Allowing our customers to better manage bot traffic and help improve the internet for millions of peopleAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Working on projects that improve our bot detection products making Akamai a leader in bot detection.
• Implementing new features from scratch. Enhancing existing features and optimizing existing functionality, from conception and design through testing and deployment.
• Working on development QA and system QA to come up with regression tests.
• Working with our level 3 support to troubleshoot complex problems or any customer issues.
• Working on data analysis for web and mobile platforms.
• Working on making improvements to client-side components like Javascripts on need basis
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
• Have 8+ years of overall SW development experience and a relevant degree in Computer Science.
• Have 6+ experience using Python for web development and web API development
• Be able to design with the best possible architectures and write clean well-structured code
• Able to manage and prioritize own workload effectively
• Have experience with Machine Learning techniques
