Job Description

Overview of the role: A Lead developer for Mobile development will focus on overall mobile solution. They can be trusted to design cross platform solution, ensure standardisation of code, focus on upcoming industry changes and trends, coordinate the solution design discussions, and dedicate time in hands-on development. This role will also require to support the implementation of developer based testing approach. Key focus area for this role will beDefining the cross platform technical solution for the mobile application that is envisioned with the customer.Defining the technical requirements for the implementation of the mobile solution.Discussing technical aspects of the mobile application solution architecture, including the technology used, methodology followed, and devices selected with the customer.Focus on upcoming changes in mobile industry and ensure this is being planned to include in roadmap.Preparing technical solution and documents, artefacts, work products and presentations for the customer.Interface with vendors and release platform (Google Store & App Store) to build a relationship to facilitate early warning on potential roadblocks and assistance in getting required support.Experienced in designing and developing mobile sdk and integrating mobile apps with web-services and external APIs.Understanding of mobile security protocols, analytics and social channel integration.Understanding various non-functional aspects in mobile application and provide a solution to optimize performance, scalability etc.Responsible for successfully designing and managing the delivery of mobile solutions and technologies.Deliver mobile platform and architecture recommendations based on project requirements and industry best practices.Design overall solutions and individual applications.Contribute toward excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.Develop, design and document architectures for mobile solutions on iOS, and Android on Native and Hybrid platforms.Enforce sound development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise mobile solutionsLead and mentor development teams.Work closely with Team Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and UX teams.Take ownership of the solution from end to end, and be responsible for translating functional requirements into a mobile solution., The Requirements

• Expertise in iOS, Android, HTML5, CSS3, integration with web-services (Soap and Rest) and other mobile frameworks/accelerators.
• Expert Knowledge and hands on experience in developing and architecting secure, scalable, resilient and fast native mobile apps for iOS and Android
• Good working knowledge of Micro services based architecture, hands on experience with Modular Clean architecture, dependency management, Entities and leading Data Access patterns (Hands on experience must include Java based technology stack)
• Proven ability to design, optimize and integrate business processes across various systems and mobile technologies
• Experience with mobile analytics and effective testing strategy that follows the testing pyramid and test automation.
• Well versed with code versioning tools such as Git and CI/CD processes and frameworks.
• Ability to understand existing data models and prior experience designing data model enhancements for implementing new features.
• Hands on person who is not afraid to code pairing with the developers.

Good understanding of user interface strategies that adapt across multiple screen sizes and improve device compatibility

• Demonstrated deployments of enterprise or consumer-facing mobile software systems using industry standard environments including iOS, Android, PhoneGap (Apache Cordova).

• A thorough understanding of OOP, design patterns, iOS, Android, and enterprise in mobile application integration
• Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
• Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies

Experience with Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.Soft skills/Behavioural skills
