Job Description

    As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for helping in preparing food items. You will also be responsible for working with managers and offering support to chefs and servers. In addition to this, you should be able to work in a fast-paced working environment. To perform this job role, you should have extensive knowledge of food handling procedures. Also, you should be well versed in maintaining a good relationship with the clients. Prior work experience as a Catering Assistant or a similar role will be an added advantage for the candidate. Responsibilities Assisting in food preparation along with the Kitchen Staff. Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients as requested by the Head Chef. Maintaining the schedules for catering orders. Keeping in touch with the clients and discussing about catering availabilities. Setting up the catering and other dining areas as per the Catering Managers instructions. Keeping utensils and other kitchen equipment ready beforehand. Maintaining the catering inventory and restocking them. Unloading food supplies and organizing them properly in the stock room. Discussing the pricing structures with the clients. Maintaining a healthy relationship with the old and existing clients. Answering to clients related to catering preparation. Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies
