Job Description

1. Optimize the Energy cost

  • Control on timely Electricity payments
  • Ensuring timely recouping of Electricity Board advance to vendors to meet emergency and unexpected delays
  • Ensuring DTS portal compliance
  • Projecting the diesel usage plan for the month
  • Tracking the deviation from planned and validate justifications
  • Comparing it with DG On alarms, DTS reports and other sources of data
  • Interacting with Operations & Maintenance dept. for better Alarm compliance
  • Checking for pilferages of diesel
  • Conducting random field audits
  • Monthly reconciliation with OMEs within agreed parameters
2. Minimizing disputes on Energy billing
  • Accurate Data management
  • Analyze the internal and external reasons of the disputes
  • Take Corrective measures
  • Accuracy of Energy billing based on Direct Cost Model
- Capturing correct DCM ratios in the DCM portal- Channelizing field staff to rectify the faulty meters and get readings on time3. New initiatives towards use of Alternate source of Energy
  • Recommend the potential areas of deployment
  • Implement new initiatives for alternate resource of Energy
  • Keep tracking of Energy parameters to make feasibility of new source of Energy
4. Providing uptime by ensuring minimizing EB disconnections
  • Monitor the status of EB disconnected sites
  • Raise alarms in system and facilitation early restoration
5. Settle Billing ambiguities by liasoning with EB department
  • Ensure accuracy of EB bills.
  • Identify abnormal billing, take corrective actions by liasoning with EB dept.

  • CA/ICWA/MBA ( Finance) preferred

  • Conflict management, Cross functional working, Analytical Skills. Ability to influence without authority, Negotiation skills.
Relevant Experience (Functions, roles, duration)
  • 8-10 years of experience. ( Energy management experience in past preferred)
