Job Description

Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs Network Security Engineer, you are responsible to provide 3rd Line support Monitoring with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.If you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative workplace, IBM provides an environment where you will be challenged and inspired every single day.   • Configure and manage virtual Firewall (Cisco Firewall, Checkpoint VSX, FortiGATE VDOM, IPS, IDS, Sophos) and Cisco VRFs for both intranet and internet
  • Adept in Networking Security, Data Centre Operations, IT Infrastructure Management, Network Administration, Technology Support and Technical Troubleshooting. etc
  • Support the operations of advanced IP network/security services and take partner concerns from Level 3 and SME engineers and as directed by Operation Managers
  • Working experience in a fast-paced Network Operation environment
  • Remote troubleshooting and diagnosis of network connectivity issues
  • Work with a variety of customers and vendors (some technical some non-technical)
  • Communicate technical jargon to non-technical people
  • Receive calls from customers and work trouble tickets to resolve customer called out network and security issues
  • Work with Telecommunication Service Providers to resolve intensified circuit problems to resolution
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in following mentioned verticals below: ASA, Checkpoint and other firewalls / Cisco Routers/Switches (past and current specifications)
  • 2-3 years experience in any two of the following mentioned technologies: Cisco IDS/IPS deployment experience / Cisco Nexus, ISR, UCS Platform, Bluecoat Proxy SG - Build and Configuration experience
  • Exposure to load balancers F5 (LTM & GTM)
  • Proficient in prioritising and managing high volume workloads from multiple sources , working to strict SLA s
  • Experience in Team and individual working skills
  • Expertise to manage complex changes involving working with different teams within hosting
  • Proven customer communication skills and fixing issues in Cisco ASA, Checkpoint Firewall,F5, Bluecoat Firewall, Optional: IDS , IPS skills.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Working knowledge of working on ARC Sight Solution
  • Expertise in Cisco ACS, AAA & TACACS configuration experience
  • Certifications CCSA / CCIE (Security) / ITIL Foundation is desirable
