data science lead in kolkataThe person should be able to: Understand business needs and objectives of our clients from various sectors such as FMCG,E-commerce, FinTech, Manufacturing etc. Organize and drive successful completion of projects through effective management ofanalyst and effective collaboration with client stakeholders. Liaise with clients to fully understand data content and context. Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within andoutside of the company. Develop strategies for effective data analysis, reporting, model creation and prediction. Make impact through recommendations towards the best data science approach / technology /algorithm to be used for any given problem statement at hand. Design and develop Predictive / Prescriptive Models using machine learning / statisticaltechniques. Build end-to-end automated data science pipelines on cloud using microservice architecture. Lead and develop a team of data scientists, while leveraging expertise from data engineeringteam. Proactively participate in business development activities to ensure constant flow of newprojects. Imbibe and drive the culture of the analytics organization to create an egalitarian merit drivenorganization, and help the team grow. Skillset expected Mandatory:o Proven experience in a hands-on Data Science Lead / Manager role with at least 4-5years of total data science experience.Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a passion for solving problems usingdata.o Ability to think independently and take ownership.o Ability to understand business needs and objectives of our clients, with goodcommunication skills.o Solid experience in data analysis, data cleansing, data enrichment, data wrangling,reporting, machine learning, and predictive modelling, within a given businesscontext.o Experience of working with Excel, R, Python and SQL are mandatory.o Expertise in machine learning & statistical techniques, and how to apply them inpractice.o Experience in building deployable and scalable AI pipelines on cloud.o Experience in Big Data technologies such as Spark.o Ability to lead and drive the best out of the people.o Most importantly, problem-solving aptitude and eagerness to learn new technologies& tools.
