Dear Candidate,We are hiring DATA WAREHOUSEDEVELOPER for our reputedIT(MNC) ClientLocation : KolkataSalary : 4 lac - 9 lac (depending on experience an current ctc)Experience : 2-5 yrsAs a Senior Data warehouse developer create solutions for data visualization to enhance business processes. The job comprises various tasks such as working with developers, creating tableau dashboard reports, creating BI reports and visualizations, and participating in feedback sessions to improve systems. Excellent in building enterprise level backend solutions using Microsoft Azure backend components and SQL coding best-practices and standards with very good analytical ability, problem solving skills, quality based approach, communication skills, prioritization and task management. Must be passionate about digging into data and understanding the stories the data is telling. You will analyze complex data sets, track and measure insights, build critical dashboard and draw key insights.Key Responsibilities

• Timely data delivery & monitoring
• Advanced end user communications on delays, downtime & maintenance
• Design predictive data insights
• Design data governance models for new data acquisitions and business driven data streams
• Work on enhancements of existing automations and optimizations
• Automate business requirements into meaningful solutions that drive decision making ability of the business
• Leverage your project management expertise to create dashboards / visualizations. This process can include requirements gathering, data sufficiency exercise, sketch design, to dashboard authoring.
• Work with partners and stakeholders to design and create user accepted dashboards. Bring value add contributions to the process of designed and authoring executive level dashboards / reports.
• Design analytics and reporting deliverables, especially around data visualization best practices, and creation
• Act as the data expert, leading the way in data discovery, both proactively and by request, to identify key insights and trends to help drive strategic recommendations
• Perform data abstraction, cleansing, validation, modeling, interpretation and reporting.
• Take data, understand it, process it, extract value from it, and communicate if visually / verbally to team members and key stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Work closely with customers and IT teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.
• Deliver ad hoc reporting and analytics within an agreed-upon SLA.
• Play an active role in business reviews, especially in reviewing analytical findings and in strategic planning discussions.
• Ensure solutions meet the clients needs, support the extraction of actionable information, and align with client objectives.
• Provide consulting support on all data-related solutions (program design, report design, data feed design, data aggregation, etc.)
• Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis.
• Perform the design and extension of data marts, meta data

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Must have hands-on experience in:
• Should have thorough understanding of Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Marts and general ETL Concepts
• Good experience for orchestrating ETL/data migration to cloud using on premise and/or cloud data sources
• Facilitate the development of ETL and Data Architecture best practice (e.g. documentation standard), guidelines (e.g. code reuse), strategies and help to promote the viability/usefulness of the solutions
• Good knowledge of Microsoft BI technologies SSIS, SSAS and hands on experience on MDX query.
• T-SQL Programming

Optional Requirements:

• Azure Data Storage Components such as BLOB and Azure Data Lake
• Developing ETL using Azure Data Factory
• Implementing ETL solutions using Azure SQL DW, Azure SQLDB, Polybase SQL
• Good understanding of Azure AD concepts

Essential Requirements

• Expertise in SQL is a mandatory requirement - Please provide existing work experience and explain projects or solutions you have designed in your CV to showcase this or your profile may be auto rejected
• Data Warehouse concepts and data modeling abilities
• Core Finance & Accounting business acumen is an added bonus
• Applicant must be enthusiastic about learning new technologies and finding use cases to implement them in new requirements
• Should be committed and willing to stretch for long hours during outages or major incidents to ensure data delivery is done on time
• Knowledge of industry standard Business Intelligence (BI) solution tools, such as: Oracle, Business Objects, Tableau
• Expertise in doing Root Cause Analysis and resolving performance bottlenecks
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills required
• Strong proficiency in all aspects of design, development and testing and best practices of Enterprise application and/or reporting implementations;
• Strong proficiency in the design, development and/or maintenance of reporting systems and databases
• Ability to interpret data to help in strategic decision making.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently while also enjoying collaboration with cross-functional teams and other analysts

Desirable Requirements

• SSIS
• SSAS
• Proficiency in writing MDX query
• SQL Server Database, T-SQL
• ANY open source database platform working knowledge or expertise
• SSRS Report Development and or .NET visualizations
• Good to have exposure in:
• Leveraging components like Azure Automation, Azure Power Shell Scripting, AzCopy, Dev Ops
• Power BI Reporting
