Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Engineering function offers you the opportunity of working on a diverse range of challenging assignments which hold the potential for enormous learning and growth. The key responsibilities for the role include: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Chief Engineer in maximizing the potential of the maintenance team with a balanced focus on operations, guests and employee satisfaction. Prioritize, plan, schedule, assign and supervise associates in the engineering department as well as the overall function. Oversee the maintenance tasks, SAP work orders and special projects ensuring quality & timely completion. Respond to maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional, efficient, prompt and courteous service in accordance to hotel standards. Maintain the aesthetic and operational efficiency of the hotel which include all civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing & FLS infrastructure Maintenance of all equipment related to HT, Transformers, LT, HVAC, BMS, DG Sets, Elevators, steam management systems, water treatment, STP, fire safety systems, security systems, Kitchen, Laundry & SPA equipment, IT, CCTV etc. Ensure proper records pertaining to all plant and equipment for the hotel are maintained including repair and service records. Ensure that stores have adequate stock of materials, equipments, tools and the same are kept in a clean and safe environment. Uphold all relevant statutory compliances. Train engineering department staff on correct maintenance procedures and assist them in repairs and maintenance as and when needed. Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programmes for the property to minimize expenses. Coordinate with equipment suppliers for AMC and any outstanding issues. Implement EHS , LEED , ISO-14001 EMS , ISO-22000 FSMS guidelines etc. Candidates who are familiar with the vision and mission of the hotel as well as the standards that the hotel follow in performing maintenance activities will be given preference. THE IDEAL FIT: BE / B Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from good engineering college (NIT/ Reputed Govt /Pvt colleges only) with max 10 - 12 year experiences in Hospitality, Pharma, Health care, Utilities functions of manufacturing. Min 70% (aggregate) in their graduation. To share their 10th, 12th & JEE/CET/relevant Ranking/score. Not more than 32 - 35 years of age Stable & Proven track records Candidates should ideally be able to communicate in Bengali, Hindi and English. Location: Kolkata Mobility: Medium. Must be open to relocate anywhere in India
