Responsibilities & Key Deliverables* Lead and perform the Functional Safety management activities during all project phases, from concept to release for production* Organize and conduct safety audits and assessments to drive and ensure the functional safety of Mahindra EV powertrains* The engagement and steering of Mahindra suppliers to ensure appropriate compliance of their deliveries to ISO 26262 and EV Tech centre safety process * Provide awareness at various levels and departments of EV Tech centre to foster a strong safety culture * Development and improvement of all necessary functional safety processes to cover hardware, software and systems development* Organize and provide training to various teams to ensure understanding, roll-out and fulfilment of the functional safety processesExperience2 to 6 yrsIndustry PreferredAutomotiveQualificationsGeneral Requirements* Ability to perform HARA and define safety requirements for system, Hardware and Software* Capability to interpret Hardware and Software design documents and perform verification analysis like FTA & FMEDA* Experience in the area of safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262) and related methods* Capability to negotiate supplier responsibilities through DIA* Good understanding about automobile functionalities and its current technologies * Strong analytic and problem-solving skills* Very good intercommunication skills* Comfortable in providing group and individual training* Passionate and enthusiastic about fostering functional safety skills amongst his/her colleagues,
