Responsibilities & Key Deliverables1. Deep knowledge of major components of EVs like Battery, Charger, Motor, Motor Controls, HVAC System, Low Voltage & High Voltage Harnesses, High Voltage PDU (Power Distribution Units), Telematics, In Vehicle Networking and ECU Interfaces 2. Exposure to System Engineering, Automotive / EV, EMI/EMC standards 3. Other skills to perform: a. Performance characteristics b. Design tools, considerations, manufacturing considerations c. Test / evaluation criteria d. Cost economics, cost/performance tradeoffs e. Worldwide Technology trends / directionsTo head EV Wiring Harness department To develop the EV harness strategy on par with the global benchmarks Establish the best in the class system engineering practices and methodologies meeting global standards. Provide guidance to team members, motivate and lead from front.
