And there s no barrier to your potential career success.Primary objectiveThe preparation of design drawings and documentation, covering electrical, instrument, communications and safety, in the fields of oil & gas, chemical, mining, power generation and distribution, to enable construction of various types of production plants and facilities.Specific AccountabilitiesMan-hour and cost estimates as required to enable accurate job costing.Work scheduling and project planning.Preparation of engineering drawings and documentation.Interpretation and interfacing of third party design documents into project design.Training and supervision of junior staff members.Check drawings and documentation are fit for the purpose they are intended and for conformity with the project execution plan.Checking of materials purchased and equipment for conformity with specifications.Liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers concerning the design, installation or construction.On-site commissioning and as-building.Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the WorleyParsons Quality Assurance system.Responsible for safe working practices both personally and in their designs.Understand and follow OH&S procedures.For instructions on how to do this, please review the document - How to copy from a Word Document located on the Taleo Support site under the section titled Quick Reference Guides., *Essential Skills/ExperienceTertiary qualifications and more than 10 years engineering industry experience, with a particular focus on conceptual and detailed design of hazardous area equipment and installations.Incumbents receive regular but not detailed supervision.What we offer youProviding an agile culture and challenging work opportunities results in a positive work environment.
