Key Responsibilities Assist seniors in database architecture design effort and develop/ review architecture designs. Serves as the lead SQL database designer on strategic development projects. Assists project teams in estimating the architecture design effort, modelling, ETL process enhancements and develop/ review/ approve architecture designs Develops, maintains, and optimizes all data layer components for new and existing systems, including databases, stored procedures, SSIS packages, SQL queries, SSRS and SSAS Interacts with application developers from various core systems to address changes in those systems and their impact on existing SQL databases Ideates and proposes solutions around Azure SQL, Data Lake, Big Data Data Warehouse, Information management Ability to effectively communicate with other senior leaders of IT on program strategies and plans and negotiate quality solutions Trains and mentors fellow team members Would be responsible for end to end people management and utilization of the team Qualification & Experience Required Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Engineering / Information Technology / MCA. An overall 13 + years of hands on work experience building SQL Database, understanding of database design and data modelling, SQL server experience with SSIS, ETL experience working with SSIS. Hands on experience around Azure SQL, Data Lake, Big Data Data Warehouse, Information management Preferred - Microsoft SQL Server certifications (i.e. MCDBA, MCSD, MCSE) Must possess good knowledge of C# Strong verbal and written communications skills ,
