Location : - Kolkata - Develop and manage buying for categories that include: 1) Competitive pricing structures that are aligned with and effectively support business needs. 2) Monitor changes affecting supply & demand , tracking market conditions , price trends & futures supplies in consultation with buying manager. 3) Manage sound and effective strategic procurement plans that maximize value. Create value improvement by: 1) Coordination with supplier for PO / commercial related issues. 2) Facilitating new technology introduction opportunities. 3) Encouraging Lean process improvements in client / supplier team processes and redesign effort. Assist buying manager in ensuring the timely availability of quality merchandise , replenishment , releasing POs and follow up with vendors etc.,
