Urgently looking out for Sales Manager for an MNC Logistics Company in Kolkata.Job Description- Implements the set annual sales target and a promotional action plan in line with the overall objectives and provides the recommendations to the management team for review and approval.- Supports in designing and developing sales and marketing strategies focusing on GHAs, Airlines, trade lanes, Shippers, Agents and 3PL operators locally and overseas in line with overall sales- Execute Sets plans to manage key customers and partners, forming the pivotal communication point between the companies. Work with key accounts to formulate joint medium term and annual strategies, jointly writing business/marketing plans outlining how the relationship will develop.- Implements business plans, SLAs, monitoring and exploring opportunities throughout the year, and reporting progress at predefined intervals to key stakeholders.- Ensure accurate daily sales report is maintained- Ensure all existing clients are retained- Work alongside the Sales team to increase client base and market share- Achieve set individual and team sales targets- Maintains close contact with internal sales support, sales, trade lane managers and operational staff for picking up lead and do joint sales calls.- Reviews and analyses business performance / potential, provides recommendations on credit limits after analyzing the business performance / potential.- Builds and maintain relationships and regular contacts with Key customers to ensure that the information is formulated and disseminated such as changes in schedules to ensure that theirrequirements are met in a timely manner- Deals and solves all grievances through service recovery, repeat business, investigation and fault rectification in line with the policies and SLA with Key accounts.- Analyses performance data vs. revenue targets to provide recommendations to the Management- Lead Motivate the Sales team to achieve targets- Effectively monitor sales activity of the team and provide coaching and mentoring when required- Ensure Sales team meet established KPIs (including call targets, customer visits, sales targets)- Provision of solutions to clients and team- Plan Day to day sales calls and follow up for self and sales team- Payment follow up- Gather and maintain market info and intelligence- Assign new clients to appropriate CS and Ops team members with clear instructions- Establish and communicate sales targets for Sales staffInterested candidates can search CV at deepalis@logisticsexecutive.comBest RegardsDeepali Shahane
