Job Description

    • Manage daily spa operations across concerned functions (Fitness, Pool area etc., Guest Relations, Training, Stores, Linen management and Spa Quality Assurance). Approve the manpower allocation plan submitted by the concerned spa supervisor based on the duty rooster. Provide directions to the supervisor to conduct briefings. Discuss the departments performance in review meetings conducted by the General Manager and implement corrective actions. Encourage spa staff to understand customer needs, inform them the targets for the day, complaints/issues from the previous day, special events or VIP guests, if any, and reiterate service standards. Check for grooming of all staff members. Check the premises to ensure hygiene and aesthetic standards are being met. Study the market to stay informed on current leisure, health and fitness trends. Conduct market research, identify new products, services and retail products to stay ahead of the market. Identify raw material required, define SOPs of treatment. Coordinate with the sales team for promotions. Meet and greet guests, suggest treatments or therapies based on own expertise and guest requirements, ensure staff is looking after guests in the correct service sequence. Seek feedback on services from guests, resolve issues through discount/waive off of fees if necessary.
