Role Summary: The DIRECTOR will be responsible for all communication to the CIS society and the general public, the DIRECTOR will represent CIS to the broader community in a friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner, and providing leadership in the pursuit of excellence in education The DIRECTOR will develop and promote the continual improvement of open and transparent leadership and management practices, focusing on achieving the highest levels of attainment with modern processes and standards for the benefit of CIS students, staff and society. The DIRECTOR must lead the school in the development of positive education programme across the entire school, teaching CIS students and staff the skills of wellbeing that incorporates positive emotions and engagement, the benefits of accomplishment and positive health. The DIRECTOR will manage the administrative functions of CIS, overseeing all the administrative functions on a day to day basis and advising the Principals on academic operations in a manner that promotes the educational development of each student and the professional development of staff. The DIRECTOR will examine staff culture and implement development programmes with a view to continuing to foster a high level of collegiality and collaboration. In collaboration with the Board of Governors, the DIRECTOR is required to develop and implement policies and programmes across all aspects of CIS academics, human resources, facilities, health and safety, and finance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operation of CIS. Provide inspired leadership to the CIS students, staff and society. Be responsible for high-level policy and strategic planning and decision making. Report to the Board of Governors. Act as the primary ambassador of CIS to the broader community, building strong alliances with government, enterprise, and other educational institutions within India and abroad. Develop and promote a positive culture and vision for CIS. Oversee recruitment and staff engagement and create an environment that promotes great performance and builds a strong morale of staff and students. Liaise with the board on a regular basis, monitoring and identifying areas of issue and opportunity within CIS and the broader community. Manage the key accountability areas of CIS. Key Accountabilities: Planning and development Support CIS by conceptualising and developing the long-term strategic plan for the school in conjunction with the Board of Governors. Public relations Be responsible for promoting the school to the wider community. General administration Finance Facilities management Human resources Admissions Legal Academic review The DIRECTOR will act as an academic advisor to Board and Principals. The appraisals of the Principal(s) will be conducted by the Board of Governors and DIRECTOR collaboratively,
