Job Description

*Job Responsibilities: Responsible to maintain a list of the patients details admitted in wards or ICU s, etc. along with their age, room number, ward, supervising doctor, address, etc.Responsible to have full information about the doctor s, their room numbers and their availability timings for consultants.Responsible to receive the visitors or the patients and guide them to the concerned place and give information for all their queries.Responsible to tally with the bills & handover the money at out patient billing counter at the end of the day and take receipt.Responsible to guide the patients or visitors with the formalities of the hospital.Responsible to attend telephone calls and take necessary steps like paging, connecting phones to wings. etc.Responsible to page for doctors or staff as and when required, announce code blues as and when required.Responsible to ensure that messages for patients or doctors and staff are passed on duly.Ensure that the suggestion box is opened daily and feedback forms are sent to HOD.All VIP s arrivals list must be maintained and informed to the HOD.Handling registration form 4pm to 8pm .Responsible in explaining the hospital formalities to the patients. If any information is unknown, duly find out from other employees or the HOD.Inform the visitor about the visiting hours of in-patients.Responsible to calling for wheel chair if necessary.Responsible the information of consultants and their availability timings.Documentation Consultant s list: Information about doctor and their consultation timings.Maintain to Reception logbook information like leave s of doctors, code blue calls or cases, messages to be passed on.Maintain of surgeries list day-wise information about the surgeries done, patients and doctor s name.Maintain OP feedback form and suggestion book to suggestions are invited from the patent s and action is taken correspondingly by the concerned HOD.,
