Job Description

    • Key member of the local site leadership team with responsibility for developing and driving the site HR strategy.
    • Key member of the CM & Devices HR leadership team, ensuring alignment with the HR strategy for the network in addition to the sharing of best practice and collaboration on strategic initiatives.
    • Manages and oversees performance and talent management process and programs, individual development plans and succession planning activities.
    • Consults with and advises managers on employee relations issues such as employee disputes, terminations, EEO, harassment, disciplinary action, policy interpretation, advising management on personal and policy matters.
    • Consults with and liaises with all corporate COEs a required (e.g. legal, comp & benefits, talent acquisition, learning & development).
    • Identifies and develops recruiting strategies to attract competent individuals, reduce hiring cost and turnover. Facilitates and manages internal job postings, opportunities for promotion, new employee orientation.
    • Develops and administers policies and procedures in a consistent manner, which comply with applicable laws and regulations. Advises and mediates regarding policy interpretation to managers and employees. Recommends revisions and/or new policies as necessary.
    • Develops and leads the new employee onboarding program and recommends revisions to the program as necessary.
    • Prepares documentation and participates in litigation matters such as EEOC, workers compensation, unemployment. Attends all depositions and hearings.
    • Manages and recommends job classification, ratings, pay grades.
