manager mechanical-power plant in kolkataJob Title: **Mechanical Engineer-Power Plant (Manager)**Number of Position (s): One (1)Department: Projects, Section: CPP-WHRJob Location : KolkataKey responsibilities: -The incumbent will work in CPP-WHRS function and willbe accountable for design, engineering, planning of CPP-WHRS of variousprojects.-Basic Engineering, preparation of feasibility reports, estimation of BOQ and Budgets.-Detail engineering and design, review of P&IDs, layout & GA drawings, data sheets, calculation etc,. preparation of Flow diagram, P&IDs, BOQ of process and mechanical works for various CPP-WHRS green field and brown field projects.- Preparation of tender documents, review of technical offers and preparationof technical evaluation reports.- Planning of engineering, ordering, erection and commissioning activitiesand monitoring of the progress w.r.t. schedule.- Providing proper guidance to site execution team for completion of erectionand commissioning activities within time schedule.-Coordination with various external agencies like consultants, vendors, and internal cross function teams like procurement functions, other engineering functions, site execution teams, HR function, accounts and finance function, etc.-Implementation of OHS plan in tenders, demonstration of OHS plan before final vendor selection and monitoring of OHS performance during construction and erection activities in various projects._(This role summary is illustrative; The incumbent will be required to performany other duties as may be assigned by his superiors from time to time.)._Required Education: B.E/B. Tech /M. Tech in Mechanical /Power PlantEngineeringRequired Experience: - 10-13 Years relevant experience.- Good Sound knowledge on complete power plant process and mechanical works.-Good Coordination and managerial skill-In depth knowledge on CFBC Boilers, WHR/HRSG Boilers, Steam Turbine, Air Cooled Condenser and WTP/ETP etc,-Software knowledge in MS word, MS excel, power point, SAP, MSP etc,Special Skill /Training 1.
