Manage overall safety functions which include road and bridge, system and equipment and other Company assets including operational safety. Participate in formulation of safety policies, procedures, plans, programs, strategies to meet efficiency and profitability objectives. Ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations denied in the Operation and Maintenance Agreement. Liaison with different Govt. bodies related to safety matter Educational Qualification : Bachelor s Degree in any discipline (Preferable in Civil Engineering) or equivalent from a reputed University in India. Must be having good command on English language both in writing & speaking. Must be fluent in speaking local languages i.e. Bengali and Hindi. Experience : Minimum 5 years experience of working in Safety Department of any organisation. At least 4 years experience in management and supervision of staff in an environment preferable in any Tollway in India or abroad in supervisory capacity. Must have experience of handling 100 persons or more in any operation work especially Tollway Operations. Minimal disruption during scheduled maintenance and repair periods. Rapid response in relation to damaged facilities or emergencies. Minimal or no run out of equipment consumables materials supplies or spare parts. Timely submission of reports relating to the maintenance and repair as required under contractual obligations and under Company Policies.,
