Execution of engineering drafting tasks.Specific AccountabilitiesMonitor own progress and ensure it comes within own schedule.Overall man hour key performance indicators for assigned work.Approaches Supervisor to discuss training and development needs.Areas of training and development dealt with from Performance Appraisals.Produce workpacks & drawings.Project % cost overrun = $ Actual/Budget, for assigned work.Routine equipment selection (not involving complex calculations).% Project material overrun = $ Actual/Budget material costs, for assigned work.Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks.Ensure work done conforms to the applicable specifications, codes and standards.% Design rework = Design rework hours / design total hours for assigned work.Liaison with other disciplines on technical issues.Knowledge and compliance with drafting procedures and drawing systems and applications.Knowledge of document control drawing systems.Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the CSG.Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG and location generally. Understand and follow OH&S procedures., *Essential Skills/ExperienceRelevant approved certificate from a state or technical education department or equivalent.Five years industry experience in the minerals and/or metals industry to carry out work as directed without close supervision.Communicates effectively with other employees.Participates and contributes effectively to teams and/or workgroup communications for planning and implementing work.Ability to interact effectively with people.
