We are currently looking for someone with a mechanical bias to join the maintenance team on a full time permanent basis. This is an exciting role working for a global company, who work within many industries including aerospace and pharmaceutical companies.The Position: In this role you will be responsible for servicing two busy departments and responsible for minimizing down time and improving site efficiencies.You will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance and installations of process and services on site, along with an element of electrical work - so some experience would be ideal for this role. Day to day duties shall include; maintenance, fault finding, repairs, installation to plant service, and equipment. A good knowledge of health and safety is essential for this role as you will be responsible for ensuring compliance at all times.Why should you apply This role offers an excellent benefits package, and progression opportunities within a well-established company.What were looking for: To succeed in this role you will need to have at least 4 years experience in a recognized mechanical apprenticeship, with a minimum of City & Guilds part 2 / NVQ level three qualifications, ideal candidates shall also have experience in the chemical sector, however candidates from with the pharmaceutical, biochemical or equivalent shall also be considered.
