supervise the overall day to day, performance, co-ordination and maintenance of the specified mine/project to obtain maximum productivity, efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organisation upholding all aspects of compliance and standards and adhering to budget and set criteriaensure that the team are focused and deliver key priorities to include, but not limited to, high standards of health and safety and good communicationmaintain excellent operations and standardssupervise the storage, maintenance and use of plant and equipment on a loss-preventative basisadhere to budget constraints and targetsresponsibility to assist your Line Managerassist in developing plans for progress and growth,meet your targets and those of the team as a wholecontribute to the overall development and maintenance of all projectssmooth running of the teamcontribute to training and development of the teamsupervise the performance of all duties in compliance with health and safety and all related legal/statutory regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and insert as applicableDay to day responsibilities at specified locationsresponsibility for day to day planning and co-ordination of production levels, workers, equipment levels and suppliesresponsibility for the daily schedule of work/rotas/shiftsoversee process and provide appropriate instruction to designated teammonitor to ensure efficient operationsensure adherence to all aspects of safety, including mining equipment, and raise any concerns with Line Managerssupporting and tracking the production of the mine from the processing of raw materials through to the processing of the mined product for removal from sitewithin specified criteria and adhering to applicable plans (such as emergency planning) deal with issues/problems as they arise to minimise impact on production, or immediately refer to Line Managerliaise with team/contractors/suppliers and other stakeholderssubject to specified criteria, recruitment, training (including use of equipment), set action and targets, appraise and manage performance, develop, coach and generally support all team members to ensure targets are met with minimum levels of disruptionmaintain accurate data/records/documentationcarry out prescribed tasks/projects in accordance with contract requirementscarry out tasks/projects within specified time limitsensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safetyimmediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Managerresponsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controlsadhere to all organisation policies and proceduresset an example for team members of commitment, expertise, work ethics and habits and personal characterFrom time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organisation generally.Hours Your usual hours will be from 8am to 4pm. However you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and your targets.ORIn view of the nature of the job you may be required to perform shift work (such as 12 Hour shifts including days, nights and weekends on a rota basis) and you will be expected to work as and when is necessary to meet the needs of the team and your targets.Insert following if applicable Your job will involve travel to sites within the agreed area.
