Job Description

EY-IoT Senior Consulting As part of our GDS Consulting team, you will be part of Digital & Emerging team delivering to clients across regions.The client base spans across various sectors and includes collaboration with other teams within Consulting services.The opportunityTechnical Lead in IT Advisory Services team to work on various Cloud based projects for our customers across the globe on IoT (Internet of Things) space. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.Skills and attributes for success

  • Must DevOps experience on Microsoft stack - Windows servers, Windows PowerShell scripts, IIS admin, Azure DevOps.
  • Configure build and release pipelines for cloud and on-premise applications.
  • Ensuring Security and Compliance requirements are met for Cloud hosted applications.
  • General knowledge of network, firewalls and load balancers. Configure infrastructure through code (ARM for Azure, Cloud Formation for AWS)
  • Azure PaaS experience including the deployment and support of custom-developed, enterprise solutions;
  • Knowledge of deploying Azure IoT Edge is preferred & IoT servies like IoT Hub,Digital Twin,Timeseries
  • Azure PaaS services including App Services, Key Vault, Azure Automation, Resource Manager, Storage/Backup, Application Service Environments, Log Workspace (Equivalent experience across other cloud platforms will be considered, but there should be some level of hands-on exposure to Azure),Kubernetes
  • Database (SQL and NoSQL) and data services experience in Azure (Azure SQL, Document DB, HD Insight, Data backup), Data Lake
  • Azure Resource Manager template management
  • Familiarity with Azure Virtual Networks, Network Security groups, DNS, Traffic Manager, Load Balancing and Availability Sets
  • Build and deployment automation using one or more platforms such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, UrbanCode, etc.
  • Configure infrastructure through code (ARM for Azure)
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • BE/BTech/MTech with a sound industry experience of 5 to 8 Years
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in client projects using Azure platform.
  • Excellent communication skills with consulting experience preferred
