Job Description

    What you will doAs a technical intern in this role, you will
    • Support the Partner team in collaborating with the Business Development team, partner managers, and solutions and domain architects to define plans, tactics, and strategies to support customers on the technical solutions from Red Hat applied to telcos.
    • Learn, define, and document how the Red Hat solutions portfolio can enable next-generation IT and network architectures for telecommunications providers, in the network functions virtualization (NFV), Cloud-Native spaces, 5G/IMS Core, Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN), Operations Support Systems (OSS), and Business Support Systems (BSS) areas.
    • Support the local teams to address telco customers and partners and their technical network teams; work with the sales team to gain market share
    • Deliver entry-level presentations and in the context of Telco IT operations teams and networks
    • Share knowledge and findings to allow team members to learn from your successes and mistakes
    What you will bring
    • Ability to work full-time May-August
    • Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date
    • Knowledge of the UNIX or Linux operating system (any distribution)
    • Coding experience in languages like C or Python
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of Telecommunications Technologies such as 5G
    • Knowledge of the existing and new technologies used by the telecommunications industries, including 5G, internet of things (IoT), media and entertainment, NFV, Kubernetes, and Open RAN
