Our healthcare organization is in need of an experienced Phlebotomist to join our growing team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood, tagging each sample and then working closely with the lab to make sure that the proper samples are delivered for each patient. The successful candidate will also deliver excellent patient service, answer patient questions, act as a resource for patient information and strengthen the relationship between the patient and our entire medical facility. Phlebotomist Job Responsibilities: A Phlebotomist serves patients by identifying the best method for retreiving specimens; preparing specimens for laboratory testing and comfort the pateint with good communication. Phlebotomist Job Duties: Verifies test requisitions by comparing information with nursing station log; bringing discrepancies to the attention of unit personnel. Verifies patient by reading patient identification. Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and fingersticks. Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following department procedures. Track collected specimens by initialling, dating, and noting times of collection; maintaining daily tallies of collections performed. Maintain quality results by following department procedures and testing schedule; recording results in the quality- control log; identifying reports and delivering it to the patients. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Phlebotomist Skills and Qualifications: Analyzing Information, Infection Control, Procedural Skills, Quality Focus, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Communicating with clients and patients. Candidates should possess good fluency in Bengali, Hindi and English language.,
