AICL is offering a fast- track growth opportunity to a gritty proofreader who will weed out every error and infelicity in documents that bear our name. We work for large and influential companies who rely on us for internal and extrernal communications and expect top quality work that reflects on their brands, leaving no room for sloppy language, typos or grammatical mistakes. Our content writers produce large volumes of corporate content across Corporate Reporting (annual reports), Sustainability Communications, Internal Communications (employee engagement and newsletters) and Brand Communications that needs a thorough second look, including inputs on design and layout. The work is deadline- driven and challenging, and brings with it the satisfaction of helping improve impactful, business- critical content. Roles & responsibilities Own the written word, ensure all content is well- written, standardised, edited and formatted correctly Ensure design and layout inconsistencies are also spotted Ensure writing style is in line with the tone and tenor required by clients and implement internal or client specified style- sheet on documents Carry out live document standardisation, spell- checks and other hygiene tests directly on designed documents, be it in PowerPoint or PDF formats.
