QUALITY ASSURANCE AUTOMATION ENGINEER:

You are first and foremost focused on quality you learn our product, you understand the QA process, you write test plans, and you work collaboratively to ensure product success. But you also have skills in automation you can run tests that do not require manual steps, but use an automation tool so they run fast and without friction. You tie your success to the success of the team.
Key Skills:
Strong QA skills Test planning, UI testing, Automation scripting (Python, XML etc.)
Preferred tool set: Selenium, perforce, TestNG
Working knowledge on at least one unit test framework
Technical writing skills
Documentation, analysis and business requirements management techniques
Ability to formulate concepts
Communication of technical information to a non-technical audience
Communication of business information to a technical audience
Ability to troubleshoot
Ability to coordinate and work with distributed teams spread across multiple geographies.
Responsibilities:
Develop/maintain automation framework as needed
Source opportunities where automation can bring value, collaborate with all stakeholders to get buy-in, develop and execute automation implementation plan
Identify the automation tool/strategy
Learn and share new automation technologies/tools/techniques
Develop/test/implement automation scripts, reports, dashboard
Must be a good team player and able to collaborate with other team members
Lead the company into a QA automation mindset, helping select tools and define an approach that works well for our team.
